Shark and Stingray Encounter
Learn how to safely touch and feed our stingrays, and then meet our sharks. The Shark & Stingray experience begins with a brief orientation, and then our expert trainers will accompany participants in the water, while entertaining and educating them about these swift intelligent creatures. Participants will have sharks on their lap, swim with them and live to tell about it!!
The first part consists of a session observing, feeding and snorkeling with our Stingrays, while the second part is the interaction with the Sharks. This program includes lunch and all the activities of the day pass!

Dolphin Encounter
The Dolphin Encounter offers close contact with a dolphin in waist deep water, touching and playing with this gentle mammal. An interaction that is fun and educational, ideal for non swimmers and families with young children. The program is a half hour session observing and interacting with our playful Dolphin. Petting, kissing, hugging and it includes lunch and all the benefits of the day pass.

Royal Dolphin Swim
Participants of this exciting program will have the unique opportunity to participate in a 60 minutes swim session with 2 beautiful Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins. The Royal Swim experience begins with a brief orientation and then guests enter the water to learn about dolphin behavior. Taking the experience one step further, guests encounter, kiss, hug, pet, and feed dolphins in deep water during 1/2 hour and afterwards the session continues in the beach area for 1/2 hour more, interacting with dolphins one on one in their environment. Shallow water activities with the dolphins, pectoral ride and being pushed by a dolphin through the water, using your feet and a boogey board, will be part of this great experience! The program includes lunch and all the benefits of the day pass.

Cable Car Only

The funicular or Cable Car is one of the most popular attractions of the Puerto Plata area. The mountain Isabel de Torres towers over the city with its peak at an altitude of 2,555 feet (779 m) above sea level, giving visitors a breathtaking view of the city laid out below. The funicular was built in 1975 by an Italian company and its cars hold up to 17 people and it takes about 8 minutes to climb and descend the mountain. Visitors can enjoy a beautifully landscaped botanical garden with 215 different plants and flowers of the country.
Also at the top is a copy of the famous statue in Rio de Janeiro of Jesus Christ the Redeemer.

Sosua-Cabarete

Situated on a beautiful long stretch of white sand, the town is frequented by a hip crowd and sports trendy beach bars and restaurants. Sosua is a lively town situated on a secluded bay surrounded by limestone cliffs famous for its crystal clear water and 16 coral reefs with amazing tropical fish in a myriad of colors.
Along the beach is a flea market with hundreds of vendors selling local souvenirs. The tour includes beach chairs on both beaches, drinks in a cooler and optional snorkeling.
Half Day Waterfall

One of our most refreshing and exciting excursions is our trip to explore 7 famous waterfalls. This national park is situated only half an hour from Puerto Plata and consists of the winding river Damajagua, making its way down the mountain forming 27 awesome waterfalls with natural slides and amazing cliffs. This all natural water park has been turned into a mayor attraction especially for young people who like to get an adrenalin rush. It takes about half an hour on foot walking on beautiful trails through the tropical rain forest to get to the waterfalls. Swim across the first pool and start making your way up the rocks. You will be swimming through narrow gorges of crystal clear mountain spring water, jumping and sliding into the pools of water formed in between the limestone cliffs.
For your protection you will be provided with life vests and helmets and we advise you to wear sturdy outdoor shoes or water shoes and not to bring anything that cannot get wet.
Young children below the age of 8 can only climb the first waterfall.

Santiago de los Caballeros is the second largest city in the Dominican Republic, located in the north central region of the country known as the Cibao Valley.
We will have the opportunity to visit the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration.
Santiago de los Caballeros emblematic monument was built to commemorate the first centenary of the Dominican Independence and it has become the main symbol of the Santiago. We will also have the opportunity to visit the factory of the country’s largest Tobacco and watch, step by step, the whole process of Tabacco, after will go through a multisensory journey with various aspects that are reflected in the Dominicans, within the Caribbean, American and global context. The Island and Caribbean dishes, biodiversity, indigenous ways of life and the dominance of the current urban culture, presented in the context of an innovative museum design, and in the end you will visit the manufacturing of crafts made from clay, where we will witness the entire process of turning clay into art, ranging from the extraction of the clay to mold and paint of the different objects. When it does, one of you will get to sit in the big chair and try to reel it in.

Funny Bikes and Quad Bikes

Take a walk on the wild side on our 3 hour trail ride exploring our lush tropical island. After a quick driving lesson, to get used to the bike, you will be taken on a guided adventure across the tropical rain forest and sugar cane fields towards the secluded beach of Bergantin. There are plenty of open stretches where you can open the throttle and go across rivers, jungle and beach. There are several stops to take photographs, buy souvenirs, have a cool drink and a moment to take a refreshing bath in a crystal clear river and a swim stop at Bergantin Beach. This is an exciting way to get a closer feel for our extraordinary tropical scenery and you do not need any previous riding experience. For families with children we recommend the buggies.

Our wonderful Sunset tour on horseback sets out when the day is cooling down. Our horses are saddled up and ready to go and we ride them on small trails through tropical rain forest and sugar cane fields for about 40 minutes until we arrive at the beach. After an exhilarating ride on the beach we take a break during which you will have the chance to swim in the ocean with a horse! We arrive in time at our typical beach restaurant to watch the sun go down. Our table will be right on the ocean facing the sunset where we will enjoy a romantic dinner by candle light while listening to the sound of the waves .After dinner sit around a campfire, this is truly a tropical night at its best!

It is only a short drive over to the beautiful beach of Playa Dorada where you board this large and comfortable catamaran with white sails for your day of snorkeling, sailing and soaking up the sun! We start with a leisurely cruise to Sosua Bay and while you relax on the deck, the crew will keep you happy with free flowing drinks, sing and dance with our animation team. Sosua Bay is famous for its 16 coral reefs and the boat will drop its anchor twice so you can snorkel and admire the colorful corals and feed the tropical fish. Navigation on a luxury catamaran of 75 feet. We are boarding in Sosua bay in the morning and cruising to “Playa Chiquita”. Then we stop for snorkeling at the “3 rocks”. Zip Lining

Only a 30 minute drive along the scenic route from Puerto Plata you will find The Zip Lining Adventure Park , where you can enjoy spectacular views of our city and the Atlantic Ocean.
Once at the park, our highly experienced guides will train each participant on the security system and installation of our specialized equipment and the details of the trail.
This is where your adrenalin starts to flow; when you launch off the first of 10 platforms and 8 cables which make up the system, when you are suspended in the air between 100 and 300 meters, with speeds of up to 30 mph and heights of up to 100 feet above ground, gaining a fusion of adventure and emotion which will result in an unforgettable experience.

River Rafting

Get ready for the thrill of a lifetime. Our River Rafting excursion takes you to the heart of the island where we find the highest mountains of the Caribbean, reaching peaks of more then 10,000 ft and in these mountains the island’s biggest rivers form. Our rafting takes place on the famous river Jaque del Norte; exciting rapids with steep drops and with names such as the Mike Tyson, make it a class 3 to 4 rapids. A pure challenge and a day of breathtaking action, sparkling crystal clear water and gorgeous mountain scenery.
Included in your trip are equipment such as wet suit, life vest and helmets and instructions by qualified river guides. Each raft fits six people plus the guide and the rafting itself takes about 3 to 4 hours with several breaks in between. Back at the ranch you will have a well deserved lunch. Santiago – Jarabacoa

This is a relaxed day outing to the most spectacular mountain scenery and waterfalls in the Dominican Republic. The island has the highest mountain range in the Caribbean with peaks soaring over 10,000 ft or 3000 meters and sometimes the area is referred to as the Dominican Alps. This is where most of the rivers have their origin and sparkling waterfalls such as the Salto Baiguate and the Jimenoa waterfalls entice the visitors with their crystal clear and ice cold mountain spring water.
But first our tour takes us to the second city in the Dominican Republic; Santiago de los Caballeros where we visit the largest cigar manufacturer; the factory of Leon Jimenez. Hand rolled cigars are made right in front of you and they find their way to millions of cigar aficionados all over the world. Next is a stop at the Monument for the Independence in the centre of Santiago. Then we go climbing up the mountains roads with spectacular views before arriving at Rancho Baiguate. Visit the waterfalls either on horseback or by safari truck for a refreshing swim .After a tasty lunch and some time to relax at the ranch, or a visit to the butterfly sanctuary. Then it is time to go back to the hotel.

First we take a relaxing cruise on the Laguna Gri Gri, a fresh water lagoon or mangrove.
